The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
CONSIDER the sky full of great constellations, 1 And [by] the promised Day 2 By the witness and the witnessed! 3 Cursed were the companions of the trench 4 Of the fire (kept burning) with fuel, 5 Behold! they sat over against the (fire), 6 And were themselves the witnesses of what they did to the believers. 7 And they did not take vengeance on them for aught except that they believed in Allah, the Mighty, the Praised, 8 God to whom belongs the Kingdom of the heavens and the earth, and God is Witness over everything. 9 Lo! they who persecute believing men and believing women and repent not, theirs verily will be the doom of hell, and theirs the doom of burning. 10 For those who believe and do righteous deeds, will be Gardens; beneath which rivers flow: That is the great Salvation, (the fulfilment of all desires), 11 Indeed, the vengeance of your Lord is severe. 12 Behold, it is He who creates [man] in the first instance, and He [it is who] will bring him forth anew. 13 And He is the Forgiving, the Loving, 14 Honorable Owner of the Throne, 15 the Executor of what He wills. 16 Did the story of the armies reach you? 17 Of Pharaoh and (the tribe of) Thamud? 18 Nay, but those who disbelieve live in denial 19 and God is behind them, encompassing. 20 Nay, but it is a glorious Qur'an. 21 in a guarded tablet. 22
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
