The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Ruin is for every open slanderer, backbiter. 1 Who pileth up wealth and layeth it by, 2 He thinks that his wealth will make him immortal. 3 Never! He will certainly be thrown into the Crushing One. 4 And what do you know what the Crusher is? 5 The Fire of God kindled 6 Which leaps up over the hearts, 7 it closes in on them from every side 8 In extended columns. 9
