Say: 'O my Lord, if Thou shouldst show me that they are promised, 93 do not, O my Sustainer, let me be one of those evildoing folk!" 94 And verily We are Able to show thee that which We have promised them. 95 Dispel evil with what is good. We know well what they attribute (to Us). 96 And pray: "My Lord! I seek Your refuge from the suggestions of the evil ones; 97 I seek refuge in You lest they come to me." 98 Until, when death comes to one* of them, he says, “O my Lord, send me back!” (The disbelievers) 99 so that I may do good works in the world I have left behind." Never! It is indeed but a meaningless word that he utters. A barrier shall stand behind such people till the Day they are raised up again. 100 When the trumpet blast is sounded no ties of lineage will hold among them, nor will they ask after one another. 101 Then those whose scales are heavy, they are the successful. 102 but if it weighs less, one will be lost forever in hell. 103 The Fire shall scorch their faces, exposing their jaws. 104 “Were not My verses recited to you, so you used to deny them?” 105 They will say: "our Lord! Our misfortune overwhelmed us, and we became a people astray! 106 Our Lord, bring us out of it. If we return (to sin), then we shall indeed be harmdoers' 107 God will say, "Stay there and do not speak to Me. 108 Among My worshipers there were a party who said: "Lord, we believed. Forgive us and have mercy on us: You are the Best of the merciful." 109 But ye chose them for a laughing-stock until they caused you to forget remembrance of Me, while ye laughed at them. 110 On this day I have given them their reward for their exercising patience and it is they who have triumphed." 111 He will say: How many years did you tarry in the earth? 112 They will say: We tarried a day or part of a day, but ask those who keep account. 113 He shall say, 'You have tarried but a little, did you know. 114 "Did ye then think that We had created you in jest, and that ye would not be brought back to Us (for account)?" 115 So, exalted be Allah, the True King! There is no god but He, the Lord of the Great Throne. 116 Whosoever calls upon another god, other than Allah, having no proof his reckoning will be with his Lord. The unbelievers shall never prosper. 117 And say: 'My Lord, forgive and have mercy, for Thou art the best of the merciful.' 118
