And Nuh's people belied the sent ones. 105 When their brother Nuh said to them: Will you not guard (against evil)? 106 "I am to you a messenger worthy of all trust: 107 So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. 108 I ask no recompense of you for it. My reward is due from none but the Lord of all the worlds. 109 So guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me. 110 ۞ They said, "Should we believe you while you are followed by the lowest [class of people]?" 111 He said: I have no knowledge of that which they have been Working. 112 My Lord alone can bring them to account, if only you could understand, 113 And I am not to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a Prophet. 115 They said: If you desist not, O Nuh, you shall most certainly be of those stoned to death. 116 He said, 'My Lord, my people have cried me lies, 117 So adjudge between me and them conclusively, and save me and the believers who are with me." 118 So We delivered him and those with him in the laden ark. 119 And drowned the rest of them. 120 Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers. 121 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 122
