۞ O men, you are the ones that have need of God; He is the All-sufficient, the All-laudable. 15 if He so wished, He could take you away and replace you with a new creation; 16 And this is not hard to Allah. 17 And no burdened soul can bear another's burden, and if one heavy laden crieth for (help with) his load, naught of it will be lifted even though he (unto whom he crieth) be of kin. Thou warnest only those who fear their Lord in secret, and have established worship. He who groweth (in goodness), groweth only for himself, (he cannot by his merit redeem others). Unto Allah is the journeying. 18 Not equal are the blind and the seeing man, 19 nor darkness and light; 20 And neither are the shadow and the hot sunshine! 21 And not equal are the living and the dead! Indeed Allah causes them to listen*, whomever He wills; and you cannot make those who are in the graves** listen. (* Listen to guidance **The disbelievers are referred to as dead, whose fates are sealed.) 22 You are only a bearer of warnings. 23 Verily, We have sent thee with the truth, as a bearer of glad tidings and a warner: for there never was any community but a warner has [lived and] passed away in its midst. 24 And if they deny thee, those before them also denied. Their messengers came unto them with clear proofs (of Allah's Sovereignty), and with the Psalms and the Scripture giving light. 25 Then I seized those who disbelieved, and how was My rejection! 26
