The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
I swear by those who draw themselves out in ranks 1 by those who reprove severely, 2 And thus proclaim the Message (of Allah)! 3 your God is One, 4 the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and of all that is between them, and the Sustainer of all the points of sunrise! 5 We have indeed decked the lower heaven with beauty (in) the stars,- 6 And to protect it from every rebellious devil. 7 (So) they should not strain their ears in the direction of the Exalted Assembly but be cast away from every side, 8 cast out [from all grace,] with lasting suffering in store for them [in the life to come]; 9 Except such as snatch away something by stealth, and they are pursued by a flaming fire, of piercing brightness. 10 So ask them (that is, human beings): “Were they harder to create than the objects We created?” We created them from sticky clay. 11 (Muhammad), you will be surprised that they still mock (God's revelations). 12 And when they are warned they pay no heed. 13 And when they see an Ayah (a sign, a proof, or an evidence) from Allah, they mock at it. 14 And they say, “This is nothing but clear magic.” 15 "What! When we have died and become dust and bones, will we be brought back to life again, 16 Will our forefathers also be brought to life again?" 17 Say: "Yea, indeed - and most abject will you then be!" 18 The Day of Judgment will come within a single roar and they will remain gazing at it. 19 and will say: "Oh, woe unto us! This is the Day of Judgment!" 20 (A voice will say,) "This is the Day of Sorting Out, whose truth ye (once) denied!" 21
