Noah called for help. How blessed was the answer which he received. 75 And We delivered him and his followers from the mighty distress. 76 And made his progeny survive, 77 and left for him among the later folk 78 'Peace be upon Noah among all the worlds' 79 Thus indeed do we reward those who do right. 80 he was one of Our believing worshipers. 81 Then We drowned the others 82 ۞ Of his party was Abraham. 83 when he turned to his Sustainer with a heart free of evil, 84 and when he said to his father and to his nation: 'What do you worship? 85 Is it a falsehood - gods beside Allah - that ye desire? 86 What, then, do you think of the Sustainer of all the worlds?" 87 He cast a glance at the stars 88 He then said, “I feel sick (of you)!” 89 And they turned their backs and went away from him. 90 Thereupon he approached their gods stealthily and said, "What! You do not eat [of the offerings placed before you]? 91 “What is the matter with you, that you do not say anything?” 92 And he turned upon them striking them with the right hand. 93 [But] then the others came towards him hurriedly [and accused him of his deed]. 94 He said, 'Do you serve what you hew, 95 While Allah created you and that which you do?" 96 They said, "Build a pyre for him and throw him into the blaze!" 97 They had contrived an evil plan against him, but We abased them all. 98 He said: 'I will go to my Lord; He will guide me. 99 (And he prayed:) "O Lord, grant me a righteous son." 100 So We gave him tidings of a gentle son. 101 And when he reached with him [the age of] exertion, he said, "O my son, indeed I have seen in a dream that I [must] sacrifice you, so see what you think." He said, "O my father, do as you are commanded. You will find me, if Allah wills, of the steadfast." 102 But as soon as the two had surrendered themselves to [what they thought to be] the will of God, and [Abraham] had laid him down on his face, 103 We called to him, "Abraham, 104 you have confirmed your vision' As such We recompense the gooddoers. 105 For this was obviously a trial- 106 And We ransomed him with a Feat sacrifice. 107 and We preserved for him a good name among posterity. 108 Peace be with Abraham. 109 Thus, do We reward the righteous ones. 110 he was among Our believing servants. 111 We gave him the glad news of the birth of Isaac, one of the righteous Prophets. 112 and We blessed him and Isaac, and from their offspring are some gooddoers, and others who clearly wronged themselves. 113
