The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

Woe unto every slanderer, traducer, 1 Who pileth up wealth and layeth it by, 2 He bethinketh that his wealth shall abide for him. 3 On the contrary! He shall be flung to the Crusher. 4 Would that you knew what hutamah is! 5 It is the Fire kindled by Allah, 6 which will rise over the [guilty] hearts: 7 Verily it shall close upon them, 8 In pillars stretched forth. 9

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
