The people of Nuh rejected the apostles. 105 when their brother Noah said unto them: "Will you not be conscious of God? 106 I am for you an honest Messenger, 107 So be fearful of God and listen to me. 108 "No reward do I ask of you for it: my reward is only from the Lord of the Worlds: 109 "So keep your duty to Allah, fear Him and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: shall We believe in thee when the meanest follow thee? 111 He said: And what knowledge have I of what they may have been doing (in the past)? 112 It is for my Lord to bring them to book, if you can understand. 113 Hence, I shall not drive away [any of] those [who profess to be] believers; 114 I am nothing but a plain warner." 115 They said, “O Nooh, if you do not desist you will surely be stoned.” 116 He said: My Lord! Lo! my own folk deny me. 117 So open between me and them an opening, and save me and the believers who are with me' 118 We saved him and those who were with him in a fully laden Ark, 119 Then We drowned the rest thereafter. 120 Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers. 121 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 122
