Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Gross rivalry diverts you, 1 until you go down to your graves. 2 Nay, but ye will come to know! 3 Again, Nay! You shall come to know! 4 Indeed, did you know with certain knowledge 5 You will surely see the Hellfire. 6 And again, you shall see it with certainty of sight! 7 Then, on that day, ye will be asked concerning pleasure. 8

God the Almighty always says the truth.
