And says man, “When I am dead, will I soon be brought forth alive?” 66 Does not man remember that We created him before, while he was nothing? 67 By your Lord, We will gather them and the satans, and We shall parade them hobbling on their knees in Gehenna: 68 Thereafter, We shall surely draw aside, from each sect, whichever of them against the Compassionate were most in excess. 69 We surely know best those most deserving of the fires of hell, 70 It is the inevitable decree of your Lord that every one of you will be taken to hell. 71 And once again: We shall save [from hell] those who have been conscious of Us; but We shall leave in it the evildoers, on their knees. 72 And when Our clear revelations are recited unto them, those who disbelieve say unto those who believe: Which of the two parties (yours or ours) is better in position, and more imposing as an army? 73 But how many (countless) generations before them have we destroyed, who were even better in equipment and in glitter to the eye? 74 Say: "The Most Compassionate Lord grants respite to those who stray into error, until they behold what they had been threatened with, either God's chastisement (in the world) or the Hour (of Resurrection)" - then they fully know whose station is worse, and who is weaker in hosts! 75 God further enlightens those who seek guidance. To those who do charitable deeds which produce continuing benefits, your Lord will give a better reward and a better place in Paradise. 76 Then, have you seen he who disbelieved in Our verses and said, "I will surely be given wealth and children [in the next life]?" 77 Hath he perused the Unseen, or hath he made a pact with the Beneficent? 78 By no means! We shall write down that which he saith; and We shall lengthen for him of the torment a length. 79 We shall inherit that of which he speaks and he will come before Us alone. 80 And they have taken gods besides Allah, that they should be to them a source of strength; 81 Nay, but they will deny their worship of them, and become opponents unto them. 82
