T H (Taa Haa)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Ta Ha. 1 We have not sent the Quran down to you to distress you, 2 But only as an admonition to those who fear (Allah),- 3 Sent down by One Who created the earth and the lofty heavens. 4 The Beneficent God is dominant over the Throne (of the realm). 5 all that is in the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, and all that is underneath the soil. 6 Whether you speak out aloud (or in a low voice), He knows what is said secretly, and even that which is most hidden. 7 God - there is no deity save Him; His [alone] are the attributes of perfection! 8 And did the news of Moosa reach you? 9 When he saw a fire and said to his family, "Stay here; indeed, I have perceived a fire; perhaps I can bring you a torch or find at the fire some guidance." 10 When he reached it, he was called: 'O Moses, 11 Verily I am your Lord! Take off your shoes. You are in the sacred valley, Tuwa! 12 "I have chosen thee: listen, then, to the inspiration (sent to thee). 13 Indeed, I am Allah. There is no god except Me. Worship Me, and establish the prayer of My remembrance. 14 "Behold, [although] I have willed to keep it hidden, the Last Hour is bound to come, so that every human being may be recompensed in accordance with what he strove for [in life]. 15 Let him who does not believe in it and follows his lust not turn your thought away from it, lest you are ruined. 16 And what is this in your right hand, O Musa! 17 He said: "This is my stick, whereon I lean, and wherewith I beat down branches for my sheep, and wherein I find other uses." 18 Said He: "Throw it down, O Moses!" 19 Moses threw it on the ground and suddenly he saw that it was a moving serpent. 20 (Allah) said, "Seize it, and fear not: We shall return it at once to its former condition".. 21 Put your hand under your armpit: it will come out [shining] white, without any blemish. This shall be another sign. 22 so that We might make thee aware of some of Our greatest wonders. 23 Go thou unto Fir'awn; verily he hath waxen exorbitant. 24
