He said: O my Lord! Expand my breast for me, 25 and make my task easy for me. 26 "And make loose the knot (the defect) from my tongue, (i.e. remove the incorrectness from my speech) [That occurred as a result of a brand of fire which Musa (Moses) put in his mouth when he was an infant]. [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 16, Page 159]. 27 so that they may understand my speech, 28 "And appoint for me a helper from my family, 29 Aaron, my brother. 30 “Back me up with him.” 31 "And let him share my task (of conveying Allah's Message and Prophethood), 32 so that we may glorify 33 And remember You much. 34 You are surely seeing us' 35 Allah said: "You are granted your request, O Musa (Moses)! 36 "And indeed We conferred a favour on you another time (before). 37 when We inspired thy mother with this inspiration: 38 "Cast him into the ark, and cast him into the river, and let the river throw him up on the shore. An enemy of Mine and his shall take him." And I loaded on thee love from Me, and to be formed in My sight, 39 [And We favored you] when your sister went and said, 'Shall I direct you to someone who will be responsible for him?' So We restored you to your mother that she might be content and not grieve. And you killed someone, but We saved you from retaliation and tried you with a [severe] trial. And you remained [some] years among the people of Madyan. Then you came [here] at the decreed time, O Moses. 40 And I have attached thee to Myself. 41 Go you and your brother with My communications and be not remiss in remembering Me; 42 Then go to the Pharaoh as he has become exceedingly rebellious. 43 “And speak to him courteously, that perhaps he may ponder or have some fear.” 44 They said, "Lord, we are afraid of his transgression and rebellion against us". 45 'Fear not,' said He. 'Surely I shall be with you, hearing and seeing. 46 Go to him and say, 'We are both messengers from your Lord. Let the Children of Israel go with us, and do not oppress them. We have brought you a Sign from your Lord, and may peace be upon whoever follows the right guidance; 47 for, behold, it has been revealed to us that [in the life to come] suffering shall befall all who give the lie to the truth and turn away [from it]!"' 48 (Pharaoh) said: Who then is the Lord of you twain, O Moses? 49 They replied, "Our Lord is the One Who has created all things and has given guidance". 50 Pharaoh said, 'And what of the former generations?' 51 [Moses] answered: "Knowledge thereof rests with my Sustainer [alone, and is laid down] in His decree; my Sustainer does not err, and neither does He forget." 52 Who has made earth for you like a bed (spread out); and has opened roads (ways and paths etc.) for you therein; and has sent down water (rain) from the sky. And We have brought forth with it various kinds of vegetation. 53 Do you eat, and pasture your cattle! Surely in that are signs for men possessing reason. 54
