The unbelievers have said, "Shall we and our fathers be brought out of the graves after we become dust? 67 "It is true we were promised this,- we and our fathers before (us): these are nothing but tales of the ancients." 68 Say: Travel in the earth, then see how was the end of the guilty. 69 But do not grieve over them, and neither be distressed by the false arguments which they devise [against Gods messages]. 70 They also say: "Tell us when this threat will come to pass, if you are truthful." 71 Say: "The chastisement whose hastening you have been asking for, maybe a part of it has drawn quite near to you." 72 And surely your Lord is the Lord of grace to men, but most of them are not grateful. 73 And indeed, your Lord knows what their breasts conceal and what they declare. 74 There is nothing of the hidden in the heavens and the earth that is not recorded in the luminous Book. 75 BEHOLD, this Qur'an explains to the children of Israel most [of that] whereon they hold divergent views; 76 It is a guidance and grace for those who believe. 77 And verily thine Lord shall decide between them with His judgment, and He is the Mighty, the Knowing. 78 So put your trust in Allah for you are on the manifest truth. 79 You do not make the dead hear, nor do you make the deaf hear you call when they turn about, retreating. 80 nor can you guide the blind out of their error. You can make only those hear you who believe in Our revelations and surrender themselves to Us. 81 ۞ And when the Word (promise) appears upon them, We shall bring forth for them a beast from the earth to speak to them – because the people were not accepting faith in Our signs. (This beast will rise from the earth, when the Last Day draws near.) 82
