And Noah verily prayed unto Us, and gracious was the Hearer of his prayer 75 And We saved him and his family from the great affliction. 76 And made his progeny survive, 77 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 78 Salamun (peace) be upon Nuh (Noah) (from Us) among the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists)!" 79 That is how We reward those who do good. 80 Surely he was one of Our truly believing servants. 81 Then We drowned the others 82 ۞ And, verily, among those who followed his [Nuh's (Noah)] way (Islamic Monotheism) was Ibrahim (Abraham). 83 when he turned to his Sustainer with a heart free of evil, 84 [And] when he said to his father and his people, "What do you worship? 85 "Is it a falsehood- gods other than Allah- that ye desire? 86 What think you then of the Lord of all Being?' 87 Then he cast a glance at the stars (to deceive them), 88 He then said, “I feel sick (of you)!” 89 So they turned away from him, departing. 90 Then he turned to their aliha (gods) and said: "Will you not eat (of the offering before you)? 91 What aileth you that ye speak not? 92 And then he fell upon them, smiting them with his right hand. 93 His people came rushing towards him, 94 "Why do you worship these you carve yourselves," he asked, 95 Whereas Allah hath created you and that which ye make? 96 "Build a pyre for him and throw him into the raging fire." 97 Their desire was to outwit him, but We made them to be the humiliated. 98 He said, "I will go to my Lord: He is sure to guide me. 99 My Lord! Vouchsafe me of the righteous. 100 So We gave him the glad tidings of a forbearing boy. 101 And when he attained the age of running with him, he said: O my son! verily I have seen in a dream that I am slaughtering thee; so look, what considerest thou? He said: O my father! do that which thou art commanded; thou shalt find me, Allah willing, of the patients. 102 When they submitted to the will of God, and (Abraham) laid (his son) down prostrate on his temple, 103 We called to him, saying: 'O Abraham, 104 Of a surety thou hast fulfilled the vision. Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 105 Verily that! that was a trial manifest. 106 We ransomed his son with a great sacrifice 107 And We left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 108 "Peace be upon Abraham!" 109 That is how We recompense the righteous: 110 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 111 We gave Abraham the good news of Isaac, a prophet and a righteous man, 112 And We blessed him and Isaac. But among their descendants is the doer of good and the clearly unjust to himself. 113
