And remember Our servant Ayyub, when he called upon his Lord: The Shaitan has afflicted me with toil and torment. 41 Stamp the ground with thy foot, yonder is water to wash in, cool, and water to drink. 42 We gave him back his family and doubled their number as a blessing from Us and as a reminder to the people of understanding. 43 "Take a handful of herbs," (We said to him), and apply and rub them, and do not make a mistake." We found him patient in adversity, an excellent devotee, always turning in repentance. 44 Remember also Our servants Abraham, Isaac and Jacob -- men of might they and of vision. 45 Assuredly We purified them with a quality most pure, the remembrance of the Abode, 46 They are the chosen ones, the excellent in Our sight. 47 Remember [Our servants] Ishmael, Elisha, and Dhu'l-Kifl. Each of them was among the just. 48 This is a Message (of admonition): and verily, for the righteous, is a beautiful Place of (Final) Return,- 49 Everlasting Gardens – all its gates are open for them. 50 Wherein, reclining, they call for plenteous fruit and cool drink (that is) therein. 51 ۞ They will have bashful wives of equal age with them. 52 This it is that ye are promised for the Day of Reckoning. 53 Our provision (for you) will never be exhausted. 54 However, the rebellious ones will have the worst place to return. 55 Hell, where they will be roasted. An evil place to dwell! 56 This (shall be so); so let them taste it, boiling and intensely cold (drink). 57 and, coupled with it, further [suffering] of a similar nature. 58 This is an army plunging in without consideration along with you; no welcome for them, surely they shall enter fire. 59 (The followers shall cry to the misleaders:) "Nay, ye (too)! No welcome for you! It is ye who have brought this upon us! Now evil is (this) place to stay in!" 60 They will say: "Our Lord! whoever brought this upon us,- Add to him a double Penalty in the Fire!" 61 And they shall say: What is the matter with us that we do not see men whom we used to count among the vicious? 62 Did we laugh at them (for nothing), or our eyes fail to pick them out?" 63 Surely that is true -- the disputing of the inhabitants of the Fire. 64
