Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Yaa-Seen (Alphabets of Arabic language – Allah and to whomever He reveals, know their precise meanings.) 1 By oath of the wise Qur’an. 2 you are indeed one of the messengers 3 pursuing a straight way 4 the sending down of the All-mighty, the All-wise, 5 So that you may warn these people whose ancestors were not warned, they are therefore unaware. 6 Already hath the judgment, (for their infidelity) proved true of most of them, for they believe not. 7 Surely We have put on their necks fetters up to the chin, so their heads are raised; 8 We have set a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and, We have covered them so that they do not see. 9 And it is the same for them, whether you warn them or do not warn them – they will not believe. 10 Thou canst [truly] warn only him who is willing to take the reminder to heart, and who stands in awe of the Most Gracious although He is beyond the reach of human perception: unto such, then, give the glad tiding of [God's] forgiveness and of a most excellent reward! 11 Surely it is We who bring the dead to life and write down what they have forwarded and what they have left behind; everything We have numbered in a clear register. 12
