And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 and left them thus to be remembered among later generations: 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 121 Indeed they are two of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 122 And lo! Elias was of those sent (to warn), 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not be mindful of God? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 'Peace be upon El Yaseen' 130 This is how We reward the virtuous. 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot was certainly a Messenger. 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 and at night.
