Say: 'I am only a warner. There is not any god but God, the One, the Omnipotent, 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, all-mighty, all-forgiving." 66 Say: 'It is a mighty tiding 67 “You are neglectful of it!” 68 I had no knowledge of the exalted chiefs when they contended: 69 it has only been revealed to me that I am a plain warner." 70 [For,] lo, thy Sustainer said unto the angels: "Behold, I am about to create a human being out of clay; 71 Then when I have formed him and breathed into him of My spirit, fall down before him prostrate. 72 So the angels prostrated - all of them entirely. 73 except Iblis. He waxed proud and became one of the unbelievers. 74 The Lord said, "Iblis, what prevented you from prostrating before what I have created with My own hands? Was it because of your pride or are you truly exalted?" 75 Said Iblis, “I am better than him; You made me from fire, and You have created him from clay!” 76 Said He: "Go forth, then, from this [angelic state] - for, behold, thou art henceforth accursed, 77 My curse will remain upon you till the Day of Judgement!" 78 He said: My Lord! Reprieve me till the day when they are raised. 79 He said: “You are of those who have been granted respite 80 till the Day of the known time' 81 He said, "By Your Glory, I shall seduce all of them (children of Adam). 82 Save Thy single-minded slaves among them. 83 Said Allah, “So this is the truth; and I speak only the truth.” – 84 I shall certainly fill Gehenna with you and every one of them that follows you' 85 Say: "I do not ask any compensation of you for it, nor am I a specious pretender. 86 "This is no less than a Message to (all) the Worlds. 87 And you will surely know [the truth of] its information after a time." 88
