In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
I CALL TO WITNESS those who are sent consecutively, 1 By the raging hurricanes, 2 Then by oath of those that lift and carry. 3 separating one from another, 4 and by those who reveal revelations (to the prophets) 5 to serve as an excuse or a warning. 6 that which you have been promised shall be fulfilled. 7 Then the stars will lose their light. 8 and the sky is rent asunder, 9 when the mountains shall be scattered 10 And when the messengers are (all) appointed a time (to collect);- 11 For what day has the term [of all this] been set? 12 The Day of Judgement. 13 And what do you know, what the Day of Decision is! 14 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth. 15 Did We not destroy the former generations? 16 We shall then send the latter after them. 17 This is how We deal with the guilty. 18 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 19 Did We not create you of a mean water, 20 And We placed it in a firm lodging 21 for an appointed term? 22 So We proportion it-- how well are We at proportioning (things). 23 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 24 Have We not caused the earth to hold within itself 25 Both for the living and the dead, 26 Have We not placed high mountains upon it and given you fresh water to drink? 27 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 28 Walk on to that which you called a lie. 29 Depart unto the shadow falling threefold, 30 which neither gives shade nor protects one from the flames. 31 Surely it sends up sparks like palaces, 32 as black camels. 33 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 34 that Day on which they will not [be able to] utter a word, 35 Nor will it be permitted for them to make an excuse. 36 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 37 This is the Day of Judgement; We will have assembled you and the former peoples. 38 If now ye have any wit, outwit Me. 39 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 40

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
