The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 who has ordained and guided, 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 and then made it into a blackish straw. 5 We shall make thee read (O Muhammad) so that thou shalt not forget 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 And We shall make easy unto thee the easy way. 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 He who fears [Allah] will be reminded. 10 And the most unfortunate one will avoid it, 11 Who will enter the Great Fire, 12 In which he will neither die nor live. 13 Surely he will succeed who grows in goodness, 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 But you prefer the present life, 16 While the hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
