T H (Taa Haa)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Ta-Ha. 1 We have not sent down to you the Qur'an that you be distressed 2 But only as a reminder for those who fear [Allah] - 3 A revelation from Him (Allah) Who has created the earth and high heavens. 4 The Compassionate on the Throne is established. 5 To Him belongs what is in the heavens and what is on the earth and what is between them and what is under the soil. 6 Whether or not you express (your thoughts) in words, God certainly knows all unspoken thoughts and all that is even more difficult to find. 7 Allah! La ilahla illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He)! To Him belong the Best Names. 8 Hath there come unto thee the story of Musa? 9 When he saw a fire, he said to his family, "Wait here. I can see a fire. Perhaps I can bring you a brand from it, or find some guidance at the fire." 10 And when he came to it, he was called, "O Moses, 11 "Verily! I am your Lord! So take off your shoes, you are in the sacred valley, Tuwa. 12 “And I have chosen you, therefore listen carefully to what is divinely revealed to you.” 13 Indeed, I am Allah. There is no god except Me. Worship Me, and establish the prayer of My remembrance. 14 The Hour is coming. I almost conceal it, so that every soul will be recompensed for its labors. 15 Do not let those who disbelieve in it and follow their desires bar you from it, or you will perish. 16 "What do you have in your right hand, Moses?" 17 He said: "This is my stick, whereon I lean, and wherewith I beat down branches for my sheep, and wherein I find other uses." 18 Said He, 'Cast it down, Moses!' 19 So he cast it down, and lo! it was a serpent, gliding. 20 He said: Grasp it and fear not. We shall return it to its former state. 21 And thrust thy hand within thine armpit, it will come forth white without hurt. (That will be) another token. 22 So We would show thee some of Our greatest signs. 23 Go to Pharaoh; he has waxed insolent.' 24
