Hast thou considered him who turns his back 33 And gives a little and (then) withholds. 34 Hath he knowledge of the Unseen so that he seeth? 35 Has he not been made acquainted with what was written in the scriptures of Moses? 36 And (of) Ibrahim who fulfilled (the commandments): 37 that no bearer of burdens shall be made to bear another's burden; 38 and that man shall have only that for which he strives; 39 He will certainly see the result of his labor 40 Then will he be rewarded with a reward complete; 41 And that to your Lord (Allah) is the End (Return of everything). 42 that it is He who brings laughter and tears; 43 And that it is He Who causeth to die and causeth to live. 44 and that it is He who created pairs, the male and the female, 45 From a drop (of seed) when it is poured forth; 46 and that it is for Him to grant the second life, 47 that He it is Who bestowed wealth and riches, 48 and that He is the Lord of (the star) Sirius, 49 that He it is Who destroyed the ancient 'Ad, 50 and Thamood, and He did not spare them, 51 And the people of Noah before. Indeed, it was they who were [even] more unjust and oppressing. 52 and the Subverted City He also overthrew, 53 Then covered them with that which covered them. 54 About which, then, of thy Sustainer's powers canst thou [still] remain in doubt? 55 THIS IS a warning like those warnings of old: 56 The Day of Resurrection draws near, 57 none except Allah can disclose it. 58 So are you surprised at this fact? 59 And do you laugh instead of weeping, 60 and divert yourselves all the while? 61 So prostrate to Allah and worship [Him]. ۩ 62
