Al-nahl 2 of 16
He it is who sendeth down from the heaven water for you, wherefrom is drinking and wherefrom are trees whereas ye pasture your herds. 10 [and] by virtue thereof He causes crops to grow for you, and olive trees, and date palms, and grapes, and all [other] kinds of fruit: in this, behold, there is a message indeed for people who think! 11 He has subjected to you the night, the day, the sun and the moon. The stars are subjected by His Command. Surely, in that there is a sign for a nation who understands. 12 And all the [beauty of] many hues - which He has created for you on earth: in this, behold, there is a message for people who [are willing to] take it to heart! 13 And He it is Who hath constrained the sea to be of service that ye eat fresh meat from thence, and bring forth from thence ornaments which ye wear. And thou seest the ships ploughing it that ye (mankind) may seek of His bounty and that haply ye may give thanks. 14 And He has affixed into the earth mountains standing firm, lest it should shake with you, and rivers and roads, that you may guide yourselves. 15 and He has set other landmarks in the earth. And by the stars too do people find their way. 16 Is He who creates as he who does not create? Will you not remember? 17 If you count the favors of Allah, you could not number them. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and the Most Merciful. 18 and God knows all that you keep secret as well as all that you bring into the open. 19 , As for those they call besides God, they cannot create a thing, and have themselves been created. 20 Dead, without life they are, and do not know when they will be raised. 21

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
