O Prophet! Tell your wives and your daughters and wives of the believers that they should draw over themselves some of their outer garments [when in public], so as to be recognized and not harmed. God is most forgiving and most merciful. 59 ۞ Truly, if the Hypocrites, and those in whose hearts is a disease, and those who stir up sedition in the City, desist not, We shall certainly stir thee up against them: Then will they not be able to stay in it as thy neighbours for any length of time: 60 Accursed, they will be seized wherever found and slain with a (fierce) slaughter. 61 Such has been God's way with those who [sinned in like manner and] passed away aforetime - and never wilt thou find any change in God's way! 62 Men ask you about the hour; say: The knowledge of it is only with Allah, and what will make you comprehend that the hour may be nigh. 63 Indeed, Allah has cursed the disbelievers and prepared for them a Blaze. 64 wherein they will live forever without being able to find any guardian or helper. 65 The day their faces would be turned on the fire (as on a spit), they will say: "Alas! If only we had obeyed God, and obeyed the Prophet." 66 And they shall say: 'Our Lord, We obeyed our masters and our eminent ones, but they misled us from the way. 67 Our Lord, let their punishment be doubled; and curse them with a mighty curse' 68
