Have you then seen him who turns his back? 33 and gives so little [of himself for the good of his soul,] and so grudgingly? 34 Has he knowledge of the unseen, so that he sees? 35 Or has he never yet been told of what was [said] in the revelations of Moses, 36 And of Abraham who fulfilled his trust? -- 37 That no soul laden bears the load of another, 38 That a man receives but only that for which he strives; 39 And that his effort is going to be seen - 40 Then will he be rewarded with a reward complete; 41 And that the end is only towards your Lord? 42 That it is He who makes you happy and morose, 43 and that it is He who makes to die, and that makes to live, 44 It is He who has created spouses, male and female, 45 from a drop of sperm when it was emitted, 46 That He hath promised a Second Creation (Raising of the Dead); 47 That it is He Who giveth wealth and satisfaction; 48 And that He is the Lord of the Sirius; 49 that He it is Who destroyed the ancient 'Ad, 50 And Thamud (people). He spared none of them. 51 and the people of Noah; they were the most unjust and rebellious people. 52 And He overthrew the Cities of the Plain, 53 So they were covered with whatever covered them? 54 So O listener! Which favour of your Lord will you doubt? 55 This (Muhammad SAW) is a warner (Messenger) of the (series of) warners (Messengers) of old. 56 The Day of Resurrection draws near, 57 None besides Allah can avert it, (or advance it, or delay it). 58 Marvel ye then at this statement, 59 Or do you laugh, and do you not weep 60 while you are thoughtless? 61 But fall ye down in prostration to Allah, and adore (Him)! ۩ 62
