The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

WOE unto every slanderer, fault-finder! 1 Who pileth up wealth and layeth it by, 2 thinking that his wealth will make him live forever! 3 On the contrary! He shall be flung to the Crusher. 4 And what can make you know what is the Crusher? 5 The Fire of God kindled 6 roaring over the hearts 7 it closes in on them from every side 8 In extended columns. 9

True are the words of God the Almighty.
