WITH ALL THIS, man [often] says, "What! Once I am dead, shall I again be brought forth alive?" 66 Does he not remember that We created him when he did not exist? 67 By your Lord, We will surely muster them and the devils together. Then We will surely bring them all, on their knees, around Hell, 68 Then We will separate from every group those who were strongly rebellious against the Beneficent God. 69 Then surely it is We who are the Best Knower of these worthiest of being therein roasted. 70 There is not one among you who will not reach it. Your Lord has made this incumbent on Himself. 71 Then We shall save those who feared God, but the wrongdoers shall be left there on their knees. 72 When Our Clear Signs are rehearsed to them, the Unbelievers say to those who believe, "Which of the two sides is best in point of position? Which makes the best show in council?" 73 How many generations of greater prosperity and splendor have We destroyed before them? 74 Say thou: whosoever is in error - surely unto him the Compassionate lengtheneth a length, until when they behold that wherewith they were threatened, either the torment or the Hour, then they shall come to know whosoever is worse in position and weaker as an army. 75 God gives greater guidance to those who are guided; and good deeds that endure are better with your Lord for reward, and better for consequence. 76 Have you seen he who disbelieves Our verses and yet says: 'I shall surely be given wealth and children' 77 Has he the knowledge of the unseen or has the Beneficent God established such a binding agreement with Him? 78 Indeed not. We shall record what he says and shall prolong the punishment for him. 79 And it is We only Who shall inherit what he says (belongs to him), and he will come to Us, alone. 80 They have taken other deities besides God, so that they may be a source of strength for them. 81 But nay! [On Judgment Day] these [very objects of adoration] will disavow the worship that was paid to them, and will turn against those [who had worshipped them]! 82
