Moses said, "My Lord! open up my heart, 25 "Ease my task for me; 26 “And untie the knot of my tongue.” 27 so that they might fully understand my speech, 28 and appoint for me, from my household, someone who will help me bear my burden - 29 "Aaron, my brother; 30 "Add to my strength through him, 31 and let him share my task, 32 "That we may glorify You much, 33 and may remember You much. 34 "Verily! You are of us Ever a Well-Seer." 35 He said, “O Moosa, you have been granted your prayer.” 36 And indeed, another time, already We have shown thee favour, 37 when We inspired thy mother with this inspiration: 38 "'Put him into a chest, then cast it into the river. The river will cast it on to the bank, and there he shall be taken up by an enemy of Mine and his.' I showered My love on you so that you might be reared under My watchful eye. 39 “When your sister went, then said, ‘Shall I show you the people who may nurse him?’ And We brought you back to your mother in order to soothe her eyes and that she may not grieve; and you killed a man, so We freed you from sorrow, and tested you to the maximum; you therefore stayed for several years among the people of Madyan; then you came (here) at an appointed time, O Moosa.” 40 “And I created you especially for Myself.” 41 Go, you and your brother, with My signs, and do not be remiss in remembering Me. 42 Go both of you to Pharaoh, for he has transgressed all bounds, 43 Speak to him gently. He may possibly take heed or may come to have fear." 44 They said, "Our Lord, indeed we are afraid that he will hasten [punishment] against us or that he will transgress." 45 He said: "Fear not: for I am with you: I hear and see (everything). 46 "So go ye both to him, and say, 'Verily we are messengers sent by thy Lord: Send forth, therefore, the Children of Israel with us, and afflict them not: with a Sign, indeed, have we come from thy Lord! and peace to all who follow guidance! 47 Surely it has been revealed to us that the chastisement will surely come upon him who rejects and turns back. 48 Pharaoh said:" Moses! Who is the Lord of the two of you?" 49 He said: Our Lord is He Who gave to everything its creation, then guided it (to its goal). 50 He said: then what happened to the former generations? 51 He (Moses) answered: 'The knowledge of them is in a Book with My Lord. My Lord neither goes astray, nor forgets. 52 He it is Who spread the earth for you; and made in it paths for you, and sent down water from the sky, and then through it We brought forth many species of diverse plants. 53 Eat and pasture your cattle: verily therein are signs for men of sagacity. 54
