The tree of al-Zaqqum 43 The food of sinners. 44 Like molten brass; it will boil in their insides. 45 As the seething of boiling water. 46 (It will be said of such sinners), "Seize them and drag them into the middle of hell. 47 Then pour upon his head the torment of boiling water. 48 Taste; you forsooth are the mighty, the honorable: 49 Lo! this is that whereof ye used to doubt. 50 Verily! The Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2), will be in place of Security (Paradise). 51 In gardens and springs; 52 Attired in fine silk and brocade, facing each other. 53 Even so (it will be). And We shall wed them unto fair ones with wide, lovely eyes. 54 They will call therein for every kind of fruit in security. 55 There they shall not taste death, except the first death, and He will shield them from the punishment of Hell, 56 As a Bounty from your Lord! That will be the supreme success! 57 We have now made it easy on your tongue, in order that they remember. 58 So wait thou [for what the future will bring]: behold, they, too, are waiting. 59
