Al-Ma'aarej 2 of 2
What aileth those who disbelieve, that they keep staring toward thee (O Muhammad), open-eyed, 36 towards thee on the right hand and on the left hand in knots? 37 Does every one of them desire to enter the bountiful Paradise? 38 Never so. We have created them from what they know. 39 But nay! I swear by the Lord of the Easts and the Wests that We are certainly able 40 To replace them with better than them; and We are not to be outdone. 41 Therefore leave them alone to go on with the false discourses and to sport until they come face to face with that day of theirs with which they are threatened; 42 the Day when they shall rush from their graves, as if they were hurrying to a raised flag, 43 Their eyes cast down; disgrace shall overtake them; that is the day which they were threatened with. 44
True are the words of God the Almighty.
