But those who deny Our signs - We will progressively lead them [to destruction] from where they do not know. 182 And (for this purpose) I will grant them respite. My design is incontrovertible. 183 Do they not ponder that their companion is far removed from insanity? In fact he is clearly a Herald of Warning. 184 Do they not look in the dominion of the heavens and the earth and all things that Allah has created, and that it may be that the end of their lives is near. In what message after this will they then believe? 185 No one can guide those whom God lets go astray: He leaves them blundering about in their arrogance. 186 They ask you about the hour, when will be its taking place? Say: The knowledge of it is only with my Lord; none but He shall manifest it at its time; it will be momentous in the heavens and the earth; it will not come on you but of a sudden. They ask you as if you were solicitous about it. Say: Its knowledge is only with Allah, but most people do not know. 187 Say: 'I have no power to profit for myself; or hurt, but as God will. Had I knowledge of the Unseen I would have acquired much good, and evil would not have touched me. I am only a warner, and a bearer of good tidings, to a people believing.' 188
