The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta-Sin-Mim. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings.] 1 These are the verses of the illustrious Book. 2 It may be thou frettest thy soul with grief, that they do not become Believers. 3 If We will, We can send down a Sign to them from heaven, so their necks will be humbled to it. 4 A fresh remembrance has never come to them from the Merciful, except they turn away from it. 5 So they have surely belied; wherefore anon there shall come unto them the truth of that whereat they were wont to mock. 6 Have they, then, never considered the earth - how much of every noble kind [of life] We have caused to grow thereon? 7 Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them will not accept faith. 8 And lo! thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
