And assuredly We gave grace unto Musa and Harun. 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 'Peace be upon Moses and Aaron' 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 They were two of Our believing servants. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” – 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers, who perform good deeds totally for Allah's sake only - see V. 2:112). 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 and at night. Will you then not understand? 138
