Say: 'I am only a warner. There is no god except Allah, the One, the Conqueror, 65 Lord of the heavens and earth, and of what between them is, the All-mighty, the All-forgiving.' 66 Say, "This is momentous news, 67 Whence ye turn away! 68 I had no knowledge of the higher Assembly when they discussed it among themselves. 69 Only this has been revealed to me that I am a distinct warner. 70 (Remember) When your Lord said to the angels, “I will create a human from clay.” – 71 So when I have proportioned him and breathed into him of My [created] soul, then fall down to him in prostration." 72 Then the angels bowed themselves all together, 73 Not so Iblis: he was haughty, and became one of those who reject Faith. 74 [Allah] said, "O Iblees, what prevented you from prostrating to that which I created with My hands? Were you arrogant [then], or were you [already] among the haughty?" 75 Satan replied, "I am better than him. You created me from fire, but You created him from clay." 76 (Allah) said: "Then get thee out from here: for thou art rejected, accursed. 77 “And indeed My curse is upon you till the Day of Judgement.” 78 He said, "My Lord, then reprieve me until the Day they are resurrected." 79 (Allah) said: "Respite then is granted thee- 80 till the Day the time whereof is known [only to Me]." 81 [Whereupon Iblis] said: "Then [I swear] by Thy very might: I shall most certainly beguile them all into grievous error 82 except Your sincere servants among them". 83 God said, "This is the truth, I speak only the truth, 84 That I will most certainly fill hell with you and with those among them who follow you, all. 85 SAY [O Prophet]: "No reward whatever do I ask of you for this [message]; and I am not one of those who claim to be what they are not. 86 this is simply an admonition to mankind, 87 And ye shall surely come to know the truth thereof after a season. 88
