Have you not considered (the work of) your Lord, how He extends the shade? And if He had pleased He would certainly have made it stationary; then We have made the sun an indication of it 45 thereafter We seize it to Us withdrawing it gently. 46 It is He who has made the night as a covering for you, sleep as a rest for you, and the day for you to rise again. 47 It is He who sends the winds with auspicious news in advance of His benevolence; and We send pure water down from the sky 48 In order that We may revive a dead city with it, and give it to the many beasts and men that We have created, to drink. 49 We have explained it to them in diverse ways, so that they may take heed, but most persist in their ingratitude. 50 If We had willed, We would have raised up in every city a warner. 51 Do not yield to the unbelievers but launch a great campaign against them with the help of the Quran. 52 ۞ It was He who let forth the two seas, this one is palatably sweet and this salt, a bitter taste, and He set a barrier between them, and a refuge which is forbidden. 53 And He it is Who has created man from the water, then He has made for him blood relationship and marriage relationship, and your Lord is powerful. 54 Yet they worship, instead of Allah, those who can neither benefit them nor harm them: more than this, the disbeliever has become a helper of every rebel against his Lord. 55 We have sent thee not, except good tidings to bear, and warning. 56 Say: 'I do not ask of you a wage for this, except for him who wishes to take to his Lord a way.' 57 Put thy trust in the Living God, the Undying, and proclaim His praise. Sufficiently is He aware of His servants sins 58 it is He who created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them in six Days [periods], then settled Himself on the throne -- the Gracious One. Ask any informed person about Him. 59 When you say to them: "Bow before Ar-Rahman," they say: "What is Ar-Rahman? Should we adore whoever you ask us to?" And their aversion increases further. ۩ 60
