The food of the Zakkum tree 43 Is food for the sinful. 44 Like molten brass; it will boil in their insides. 45 like the boiling of burning despair. 46 Lay hold of him, and drag him unto the midst of the Flaming Fire. 47 Then pour upon his head the torment of boiling water. 48 (Saying): 'Taste, surely you are the mighty and noble! 49 This is the torment that you persistently doubted". 50 [As against this] verily, the God-conscious will find themselves in a state secure, 51 In the midst of gardens and of springs, 52 robed in silk and brocade, set face to face. 53 We shall unite them to maidens with big black and white lovely eyes. 54 therein calling for every fruit, secure. 55 They will not taste death therein, except the first death; and He will preserve them from the torment of the Flaming Fire. 56 God will protect them from the torment of hell as a favor from your Lord.
