The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the heavens with constellations, 1 And by the Promised Day. 2 By one that witnesses, and the subject of the witness;- 3 The companions of the pit were killed 4 the fire with its fuel, 5 When they sat by it (fire), 6 to watch what they were doing to the believers, 7 They had naught against them save that they believed in Allah, the Mighty, the Owner of Praise, 8 To Him only belongs the kingship of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is a Witness over all things. 9 Lo! they who persecute believing men and believing women and repent not, theirs verily will be the doom of hell, and theirs the doom of burning. 10 Verily, those who believe and do righteous good deeds, for them will be Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise). That is the great success. 11 Verily, (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the Grip (Punishment) of your Lord is severe. 12 Surely He it is Who originates and reproduces, 13 And He is the Forgiving, the Loving, 14 Honorable Owner of the Throne, 15 The great doer of what He will. 16 Has it come to you the story of the hosts 17 of Pharaoh and of Thamood? 18 In fact, the disbelievers had always rejected (Our revelations). 19 Whereas Allah is, from behind them, Encompassing. 20 Nay! it is a glorious Quran, 21 [Inscribed] in a Preserved Slate. 22
