O Children of Israel! Remember My Favour which I bestowed upon you, and fulfill (your obligations to) My Covenant (with you) so that I fulfill (My Obligations to) your covenant (with Me), and fear none but Me. 40 And believe in what I reveal, confirming the revelation which is with you, and be not the first to reject Faith therein, nor sell My Signs for a small price; and fear Me, and Me alone. 41 And do not mix the truth with falsehood or conceal the truth while you know [it]. 42 Be firm in devotion; give zakat (the due share of your wealth for the welfare of others), and bow with those who bow (before God). 43 ۞ What! do you enjoin men to be good and neglect your own souls while you read the Book; have you then no sense? 44 And seek help in patience and As-Salat (the prayer) and truly it is extremely heavy and hard except for Al-Khashi'un [i.e. the true believers in Allah - those who obey Allah with full submission, fear much from His Punishment, and believe in His Promise (Paradise, etc.) and in His Warnings (Hell, etc.)]. 45 who know for certain that they will meet their Lord, and that they will return to Him. 46
