Q (Qaaf)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Qaf. By the Qur'an glorious, We have sent thee as a warner. 1 They are rather surprised that a warner from among themselves has come to them. So the unbelievers say: "This is astonishing: 2 to come back to life after we have died and become dust? That is most improbable!" 3 We know indeed what the earth diminishes of them, and with Us is a writing that preserves. 4 But they denied the truth when it came to them, so they are in a confused condition. 5 Did they never observe the sky above them: how We built it and beautified it; and it has no cracks; 6 And the earth - We spread it out and cast therein firmly set mountains and made grow therein [something] of every beautiful kind, 7 To be observed and commemorated by every devotee turning (to Allah). 8 And We sent down the auspicious water from the sky, therefore producing gardens with it, and the grain that is harvested. 9 And tall date-palms laden with clusters ranged. 10 as a provision for human beings; and by [all] this We bring dead land to life. Such shall be the Resurrection. 11 Before them, the people of Noah and the people of Rass denied this truth; and so did the people of Thamud. 12 And the A-ad, and Fir'awn, and the brethren of Lut. 13 and the dwellers of the Wood, and the people of Tubba': every one denied their messengers, and so My warning came true. 14 What, were We wearied by the first creation? No indeed; but they are in uncertainty as to the new creation. 15
