The folk of Lot denied the messengers (of Allah), 160 When their brother Lout (Lot) said to them: "Will you not fear Allah and obey Him? 161 "Verily! I am a trustworthy Messenger to you. 162 So fear God and listen to me. 163 And I do not ask you for it any payment. My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds. 164 Do you approach males among the worlds 165 "And leave those whom Allah has created for you to be your wives? Nay, you are a trespassing people!" 166 Said they: "Indeed, If thou desist not, O Lot, thou wilt most certainly be expelled [from this township]!" 167 He said, 'Truly I am a detester of what you do. 168 "O my Lord! deliver me and my family from such things as they do!" 169 We saved him and all of his family 170 save an old woman among those that tarried; 171 Then We destroyed the others. 172 And We rained on them a rain. And dreadful is the rain of those who have been warned. 173 Surely, in that there is a sign. Yet most of them do not believe. 174 But, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace! 175
