۞ Say: "O 'Ibadi (My slaves) who have transgressed against themselves (by committing evil deeds and sins)! Despair not of the Mercy of Allah, verily Allah forgives all sins. Truly, He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. 53 Turn unto your Lord repentant, and surrender unto Him, before there come unto you the doom, when ye cannot be helped. 54 And follow the best of that which hath been sent down unto you from your Lord there cometh on you torment of a sudden, while ye perceive not. 55 Lest a soul should say: Alas! for that I have been remiss in respect of Allah, and I was but of the scoffers! 56 or lest it should say, 'If only God had guided me, I should have been or lest among the godfearing,' 57 Or (lest) he should say when he sees the torment: "If only I had another chance (to return to the world) then I should indeed be among the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112)." 58 Why, My revelations had come to you, but you denied them and were filled with pride, and were among the disbelievers. 59 And on the day of resurrection you shall see those who lied against Allah; their faces shall be blackened. Is there not in hell an abode for the proud? 60 And Allah will deliver those who feared Him to their place of safety. Evil will not touch them, nor will they grieve. 61 God is the Creator of all things, He has charge of everything; 62 To Him belong the keys of the heavens and the earth. It is those who disbelieve in Allah's Signs who will be the losers. 63

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
