He who was a believer said: 'Follow me, my nation, so that I may guide you to the Right Path. 38 "O my people! This worldly life is but a brief enjoyment, whereas, behold, the life to come is the home abiding. 39 Whoever does evil will be requited with evil; but whoever does good, whether male or female, and is a believer, will enter the Garden; where they will be provided for without measure. 40 ۞ "And O my people, how is it that I summon you to salvation, the while you summon me to the fire? 41 You call on me that I should disbelieve in Allah and associate with Him that of which I have no knowledge, and I call you to the Mighty, the most Forgiving; 42 The idols to which you invite me certainly have no claim to be deities in this world or in the life to come. Our return is to God and the transgressors will be the dwellers of hell fire. 43 You will remember what I say in time to come; I submit my case to the judgement of God. Surely God keeps an eye on His creatures." 44 Wherefore Allah protected him from ills which they plotted, and there surrounded the family of Fir'awn the evil of torment. 45 They are exposed to the Fire every morning and evening; and when the Last Hour will come to pass, a command shall be given: “Admit the Pharaonites to an even more severe chastisement.” 46 And [mention] when they will argue within the Fire, and the weak will say to those who had been arrogant, "Indeed, we were [only] your followers, so will you relieve us of a share of the Fire?" 47 Those who had waxed proud will reply: “All of us are in it. Allah has already passed His judgement among His servants.” 48 And those in the Fire will say to the keepers of Gehenna (Hell): 'Call your Lord to lessen our punishment for one day' 49 They will say: came there not your apostles unto you with evidences? They will say: Yea? They will say: supplicate then yourselves. And supplication of the infidels will be but in wandering. 50
