۞ Nay, I swear by the setting of the stars -- 75 And this surely is great evidence if you can understand -- 76 Most surely it is an honored Quran, 77 In a book that is protected 78 Which none shall touch but those who are clean: 79 a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 80 Is it this Statement that ye scorn, 81 And make denial thereof your livelihood? 82 Then why do you not (intervene) when (the soul of a dying person) reaches the throat? 83 and you are watching at that time 84 But We are nearer to him than ye, and yet see not,- 85 Then why do you not, if you are not to be recompensed, 86 why can you not bring it (the soul) back (to life)? 87 Then, if he be of those brought nigh the Throne, 88 then for him there shall be comfort and plenty and a Garden of Bliss; 89 And if he is of those on the right, – 90 Then there is safety and peace (from the Punishment of Allah) for (you as you are from) those on the Right Hand. 91 But, if he is of those who belied, and went astray, 92 He shall have an entertainment of boiling water, 93 And a hurling into the blazing fire. 94 This is the absolute Truth and certainty. 95 Therefor (O Muhammad) praise the name of thy Lord, the Tremendous. 96
