Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the sky is split, 1 When the planets are dispersed, 2 When the seas are poured forth, 3 And when the graves are laid open, 4 everyone shall know all his deeds, both the earlier and the later. 5 O man! What hath made thee careless concerning thy Lord, the Bountiful, 6 who created you, formed you and proportioned you? 7 He moulded you into whatever shape He willed. 8 By no means! Aye, ye belie the Requital. 9 And indeed there are some guardians over you. 10 Kind and honourable,- Writing down (your deeds): 11 Who know what you do. 12 Surely the virtuous shall be in Bliss, 13 But the wicked, indeed they shall be in the Fiery Furnace, 14 [a fire] which they shall enter on Judgment Day, 15 and which they shall not [be able to] evade. 16 And what do you know – of what sort is the Day of Justice! 17 Then, what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense? 18 The day on which no soul will have the authority over any other soul; and on that day, the entire command belongs to Allah. 19
