The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the sky containing great stars 1 and [then bethink thyself of] the promised Day, 2 By the witness and the witnessed! 3 THEY DESTROY [but] themselves, they who would ready a pit 4 Full of fire fed by faggots, 5 Behold! they sat over against the (fire), 6 and they were witnesses of what they did to the believers 7 They had no other reason for hating them except that they believed in God the mighty, worthy of praise, 8 to whom belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth. God is witness over all things. 9 Surely (as for) those who persecute the believing men and the believing women, then do not repent, they shall have the chastisement of hell, and they shall have the chastisement of burning. 10 Lo! those who believe and do good works, theirs will be Gardens underneath which rivers flow. That is the Great Success. 11 The vengeance of God is terribly severe. 12 Lo! He it is Who produceth, then reproduceth, 13 and He is the Ever Forgiving, the Most Loving 14 The Lord of the Glorious Throne, 15 Performer of what He desires. 16 Hast thou received the story of the hosts, 17 (The armies of) Firaun and the tribe of Thamud. 18 In fact, the disbelievers had always rejected (Our revelations). 19 And Allah encompasses them from behind! (i.e. all their deeds are within His Knowledge, and He will requite them for their deeds). 20 Nay! This is a Glorious Quran, 21 that exists in a well-guarded tablet. 22
Almighty Allah's Truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
