The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Woe unto every slanderer, traducer, 1 who amasses wealth and counts it, 2 Does he think his wealth will abide for ever with him? 3 Nay! Verily, he will be thrown into the crushing Fire. 4 And what could make thee conceive what that crushing torment will be? 5 The fire of Allah, kindled, 6 to penetrate into the hearts. 7 Verily it will close in upon them, 8 In extended columns. 9

God the Almighty always says the truth.
