Blessed is He Who made the constellations in the heavens and made therein a lamp and a shining moon. 61 And He it is Who hath appointed night and day in succession, for him who desireth to remember, or desireth thankfulness. 62 The worshipers of the Merciful are those who walk humbly on the earth, and when the ignorant address them say: 'Peace' 63 who pass their nights in prostrating themselves and standing before their Lord: 64 And these who say: our Lord! avert from us the torment of Hell; verily the torment thereof is perishment. 65 Verily ill it is as an abode and as a station. 66 Who are neither prodigal nor miserly in their spending but follow a middle path; 67 Who do not invoke any god apart from God, who do not take a life which God has forbidden except for a cause that is just, and do not fornicate -- and any one who does so will be punished for the crime, 68 The doom will be doubled for him on the Day of Resurrection, and he will abide therein disdained for ever; 69 save him who repents, and believes, and does righteous work -- those, God will change their evil deeds into good deeds, for God is ever All-forgiving, All-compassionate; 70 And whosoever repents and does righteous good deeds, then verily, he repents towards Allah with true repentance. 71 Those who witness no falsehood, and, if they pass by futility, they pass by it with honourable (avoidance); 72 and who, whenever they are reminded of their Sustainer's messages, do not throw themselves upon them [as if] deaf and blind; 73 Those who say: 'Lord give us of our wives and children what pleases our eyes and make us leaders to the fearful' 74 They will be rewarded for their perseverance with lofty mansions in empyrean where they will be received with greetings of peace and salutations, 75 They will live therein forever, the best abode and place of rest. 76 Say, "What would my Lord care for you, if you do not call on Him. Because you have indeed rejected the truth and His punishment is bound to overtake you. 77
