The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
46 verses, revealed in Mecca after The News (Al-Naba') before Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the angels who drag forth vehemently. 1 and those that blow gently, 2 And who glide with ease. 3 by those that outstrip them suddenly, 4 and by those who regulate events. 5 [HENCE, think of] the Day when a violent convulsion will convulse [the world,] 6 to be followed by further [convulsions], 7 Hearts will pound loudly on that day, 8 Unable to lift their gaze. 9 They say: shall we indeed be restored to the first state, 10 even though we may have become [a heap of] crumbling bones?" 11 They said, “So this return is an obvious loss!” 12 However, it will only take a single blast 13 and behold, they are awakened. 14 Have you heard the story of Moses? 15 When his Lord called to him in the holy valley, Towa: 16 and directed him: “Go to Pharaoh, he has rebelled, 17 Then say: Have you (a desire) to purify yourself: 18 ‘And I may guide you to your Lord, so that you may fear.’” 19 So he showed him the greater sign; 20 but he denied it as false and disobeyed, 21 and then he turned back to have recourse to his craftiness, 22 and then he gathered [his great ones,] and called [unto his people,] 23 Saying, "I am your Lord, Most High". 24 And thereupon God took him to task, [and made him] a warning example in the life to come as well as in this world. 25 In this there is a lesson for those who have fear of God. 26

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
