The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

When the earth is shaken with her (violent) shaking, 1 And the earth bringeth forth her burthens, 2 and Man says., 'What ails her?' 3 On that Day it shall proclaim its news, 4 having been inspired by your Lord. 5 On that day men shall come forth in sundry bodies that they may be shown their works. 6 Then shall anyone who has done an atom's weight of good, see it! 7 and he who shall have done an atom's weight of evil, shall behold it. 8
